You decide the BI stack and you own cost, deadlines, and governance

Multiple teams asking for dashboards. Fivetran or consultancy bills exploding. Stakeholders questioning Power BI vs Looker Studio. Kondado centralizes sources, standardizes access, and delivers ready-made reports with predictable cost by record volume.

Decisions on a BI manager's desk:

  • Centralize sources for multiple teams without rebuilding pipelines for every new request
  • Keep ingestion cost predictable based on record volume, without surprises by query or by stakeholder count
  • Decide Power BI vs Looker Studio (or both) without locking the stack to a single vendor

Destinations for your warehouse and BI

BigQuery, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Redshift, S3, Power BI, Looker Studio, and spreadsheets

Power BI vs Looker Studio

How to decide the right destination in your stack

Power BI

Right for Microsoft 365 shops, DAX modeling, workspace governance, and pixel-perfect reports. Kondado delivers data ready for the dataset.

Looker Studio

Right for teams that need to share dashboards with external stakeholders without licenses, and Google Workspace + BigQuery integration. Kondado writes to BigQuery or directly to the report.

Both at once

You don't have to choose. The same Kondado integration can feed Power BI for C-level and Looker Studio for operational teams, with one source of truth.

Governance and cost

Kondado replicates data directly from source to the destination you choose: BigQuery, PostgreSQL, or any other warehouse in your infrastructure. The destination is yours, so access control and data retention stay under your policy. Billing is by monthly record volume, capped by the plan. For teams running dozens of pipelines, that means predictable cost decoupled from how many stakeholders consume the dashboard.

How to introduce Kondado in your BI stack

In 3 steps, from connector to final dashboard

1
Map your team's sources

Identify the sources each team consumes (Meta Ads, GA4, HubSpot, databases, ERP). Kondado covers the 80+ main connectors.

2
Configure pipelines with governance

Each integration has isolated credentials and its own refresh frequency. Data lands in your warehouse with no intermediate storage.

3
Serve Power BI and Looker Studio

The same data feeds Power BI reports for the board and Looker Studio dashboards for operational teams, no pipeline rebuild.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Answers for BI managers about stack, cost, and governance

Where does my data live after replication?
Kondado replicates your data directly from source to the destination you choose (BigQuery, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift, SQL Server, Power BI, or Looker Studio). You own the destination, so the data stays under your control, in your infrastructure.
How does billing work for multiple pipelines?
Billing is by monthly record volume, not by active integration or per query. You can run 30, 100, or 200 pipelines on the same plan as long as the volume fits, with full predictability.
Power BI or Looker Studio: which to pick?
Depends on the audience. Power BI is stronger for Microsoft 365 shops, DAX modeling, and pixel-perfect reports. Looker Studio works better for sharing with external stakeholders without licenses and Google environments. Kondado feeds both at once if needed.
What does Kondado deliver that Fivetran does not?
Kondado covers the global stack of connectors and adds native ERPs and CRMs (Bling, Omie, ContaAzul, Tiny, RD Station, RD Station CRM, Mercado Livre) that Fivetran does not address. Same managed proposition, no infrastructure to provision, with predictable cost by record volume.
How does access governance work?
Each integration uses independent credentials with the minimum permissions required by the source API. Data lands in the warehouse you control, where the company access policy stays under your responsibility. Kondado does not access the destination beyond writing.
Can I transform data before writing to the destination?
Yes. For light transformations use the Kondado interface (filters, renames, types). For deeper modeling use SQL in the destination with our data models, which run in the warehouse and are orchestrated alongside pipelines.
