What is MCP and why it matters

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets LLMs (Large Language Models) connect to external data sources in a secure, structured way. Instead of copying and pasting spreadsheets or relying on complex APIs, the model accesses your data in real time — straight from ERPs, CRMs, ad platforms and databases.

Kondado implements this protocol to connect more than 100 data sources to your favorite AI assistant — be it Claude, ChatGPT or any other MCP client. You can query data from sources like 55pbx, ActiveCampaign, Google Ads, Amazon S3, api4com, Apple App Store and others, all through a natural conversation with the AI. Also check the gallery of ready-to-use dashboards if you prefer visual monitoring.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open protocol developed by Anthropic that lets AI assistants access external data in a structured way. It is like a "universal socket" to plug AI into enterprise systems.
Do I need to know how to code to use MCP with Kondado?
No. Kondado offers a no-code interface to configure connectors. Once connected, you interact with your data simply by chatting with the AI assistant.
Which data sources are available?
Can I use MCP with more than one assistant?
Yes. MCP is an open standard. Kondado offers detailed hubs for Claude and ChatGPT (the most popular clients), but any other MCP client works the same way. You can connect the same data source to multiple assistants at the same time.
How much does MCP via Kondado cost?
Kondado plans start at $19/month and include access to all MCP connectors. Free 14-day trial available with a limit of 30 integrations.
