About the author
Thassyo Pereira is CEO and co-founder of Kondado, a data integration platform that lets teams replicate, transform and combine data from dozens of sources to data warehouses, spreadsheets and storage services. Based in São Paulo, Kondado powers analytics pipelines for hundreds of companies across Latin America, and Thassyo is followed by a community of more than 22,000 data professionals on LinkedIn.
Thassyo's background bridges operations research and applied data science. He studied Industrial Engineering at Universidade do Estado do Pará and at North Carolina State University (GPA 3.67, 2012–2013), and published peer-reviewed research on logistics, operations analysis, economic viability and data forecasting between 2010 and 2014. He later sharpened his data practice through certifications from Johns Hopkins University (The Data Scientist's Toolbox) and IBM (Big Data Fundamentals, Data Science Methodology, Data Analysis with R).
As CEO of Kondado, Thassyo sets product direction for the platform's replication engine, transformation layer and integrations catalog, and works directly with customers on analytics architecture. He writes — in Portuguese and English — about practical data engineering, connector design, and how modern data stacks evolve in production. Content published under his name on the Kondado blog and wiki is reviewed against real pipelines running on the Kondado platform.
